Why Direct Primary Care?
It is an honor to bring the first Direct Primary Care family practice to Palm Beach County and I want to take a moment to explain how it happened.
When I first started my journey into patient care, I remember having a passion for patient care that drove me to be the best clinician I could. My dream in life was to help care for my patients during the good times and the bad. That passion has driven me for years to work countless hours and overcome numerous obstacles so that my patients were always able to receive the care that they deserved.
Unfortunately, we exist in a broken healthcare ecosystem. And despite our best efforts, I worry that some patients have seen their care slowly being eroded by the bureaucracy of government and insurance paperwork. The regulatory burden has become so massive, that nearly 70% of clinicians. I personally believe my patients deserve better. I was not called to be a nurse practitioner to manage paperwork, I was called to be a nurse practitioner to care for families.
I would like to invite you on an exciting new journey in my family’s life and hopefully your life as we reshape the face of medicine. Direct Primary Care is the fastest growing model in medicine today because it helps wipe away the bureaucratic headaches and expense so that clinicians can focus on helping their patients maximize their healthcare. It is a fascinating model where we will be able to offer unlimited visits in the office, by phone, text message or by email. We can also make home or work visits if needed. We have no co-pays for office visits as well as unlimited visits available for members. You can expect to have at least 30 minutes with your provider or more if needed. Furthermore we are working on ways that we can offer medications and labs and other tests wholesale to save up to 90%. I hope that you are as rejuvenated by this opportunity as I am! This is a new opportunity to make medicine great, easy, and affordable.
I know that all new ventures and dreams require the support of the community to be sustainable and I am asking for you, as my friends and patients, to help grow this from the ground up. Please help share and spread the word that there is a better way for clinicians to provide complete care for their patients. Thank you and I look to forward to continuing to be the clinician and healthcare leader that will bring the best there is to offer to our community!
